Was LaMelo Ball Caught Smoking A Blunt Before Play-in Game Vs Hawks?
Just the other day, during his appearance on the ‘All The Smoke’ Podcast, J.R. Smith revealed that there was a lot of weed smoking going on in the Bubble, and how some players even took the court while being high.
Then yesterday, before the Charlotte Hornets play-in game against the Atlanta Hawks, All-Star point guard LaMelo Ball raised some eyebrows, when he was possibly smoking a blunt.

While the NBA is not randomly testing players for marijuana this season, smoking some week still might not be the best pre-game routine out there.
Players won’t be subject to random tests for marijuana this season, according to @NBPA memo shared w/ players and obtained by ESPN. That’s been adjusted policy thru Orlando restart and 2020-‘21 season. Testing continues for “drugs of abuse and performance enhancing substances.”
