Stephen Curry Says He’ll Never Allow Jordan Poole To Take Technical Free Throws
The Golden State Warriors have started the 2021-22 NBA postseason with a bang and blew out the Denver Nuggets in both, Game 1 and Game 2.
Stephen Curry, who has come of the bench after his injury, and Klay Thompson have found themselves a third splash brother in Jordan Poole.
After an MIP-worthy season, Poole has been nuclear in these playoffs so far, and after a 30-point performance in Game 1, he added 29 points in Game 2.
Since Stephen Curry, who also played phenomenally, missed a bunch of technical free throws, which is a rarity, given his normal shooting splits, he was asked about it post-game.
One reporter asked Curry what it would take for him to allow Jordan Poole to take the technical free throws. Curry said that there is no chance at all for him to let Poole shoot them…
“Never. I could miss ten in a row and I’m still stepping to the line.”
Steph Curry asked at what point does Jordan Poole take the technical free throw: “Never. I could miss ten in a row and I’m still stepping to the line.”
