Scottie Pippen Blasts Media For Never Voting Him DPOY: “They Were Too Busy Watching Michael”

Scottie Pippen has been critical of Michael Jordan ever since the release of ESPN’s 10-part documentary series “The Last Dance”, and he has gone so far as to even take more shots at his former Chicago Bulls running-mate in his book called “Unguarded”.

Pippen had a lot of details to share about Jordan in his memoir that seemingly puts the six-time NBA champion in a bad light. Pippen even criticized Jordan for ruining the game of basketball and wanting everything to be done for him.

In the wake of Marcus Smart being awarded the defensive player of the year award, becoming the first guard since Gary Payton to do so, Pippen now expressed his frustration with the media for never voting him as the DPOY, while also blaming Michael Jordan once again.

“I think they were too busy watching Michael.”
