Joel Embiid Throws James Harde Under The Bus After Game 6 Saying He Ain’t It Anymore
Shortly before the NBA trade deadline in February, after months filled with drama, it finally happened.
The Philadelphia 76ers traded Ben Simmons to the Brooklyn Nets in order to land James Harden.
But it wasn’t cheap, as the Sixers also sent Seth Curry, Andre Drummond and two first round picks to Brooklyn, while only receiving veteran forward Paul Millsap as a James Harden extra.
After the trade, and the first two games, Joel Embiid was overly excited about his new superstar teammate. An excitement that since has turned into a disappointment, more so after Harden’s lackluster Game 6 against the Miami Heat, that led to Philadelphia’s season ending early, once again.
After the game, in true Sixers fashion, Embiid even threw Harden under the bus.
Joel Embiid after James Harden’s debut: “That was probably the most wide-open I’ve ever been in my career.”
Joel Embiid last night: “Everybody expected the Houston James Harden. But that’s not who he is anymore.”
