Jaylen Brown Says Giannis Antetokounmpo Is The Best Player In The World
The Boston Celtics are headed to the Eastern Conference Finals after beating the Milwaukee Bucks in their second-round matchup series with a decisive 109-81 Game 7 win on Sunday.
Grant Williams’ 27-point breakout game and 23 points from Jayson Tatum helped the Celtics to a 4-3 series win. Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart also came to play for the Celtics with 19 points and 11 points, respectively.
Although the Celtics got the best of the Bucks and had the last laugh, Brown didn’t forget to give Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo his well-deserved props. Appearing in an interview, the 25-year old Celtics wingman referred to Giannis as the best player in the world.
“Giannis is the best player in the world. You can see why a lot of people say that,” Celtics guard Jaylen Brown said. “He’s just relentless in his approach. He is aggressive all the time. He’s not going to be denied. And that was tough for us in the series.”
