2022 NBA Draft Lottery – Odds For Every Team

While we’re approaching the Conference Finals of the 2021-22 NBA Season, it’s time to take a little look ahead into the 2022-23 season.

Tonight, at 8pm ET, the 2022 NBA Draft Lottery will take place and the 14 teams that missed the playoffs are hoping to get lucky enough to end up with the number one selection in the 2022 NBA Draft

As teams are putting their fate in the hands of ping-pong balls, we’ve taken a closer look at the odds for each team to actually be this year’s draft top dog.

  • The Houston Rockets, Orlando Magic and Detroit Pistons all have the best chance to leave the lottery with the number one overall pick, with a 14% percent chance. Additionally, these three teams have a 52.1% chance of picking in the top four. As a worst, Houston, will pick fifth, Orlando sixth and Detroit seventh.
  • Next up, the Oklahoma City Thunder, who have a 12.5% chance at picking No. 1 through their own pick. However, since also owing the Clippers’ pick, they can add an additional 1.5% to their odd. In total, they have a 55% chance of picking in the top four.
  • The Indiana Pacers have a 10.5% chance at the No. 1 pick, and a 42.1 percent chance of picking in the top four.
  • The Portland Trail Blazers have a 9% chance to pick first and a 37.2% chance at a top four selection.
  • The Sacramento Kings have a 7.5% chance at the first pick and a 31.9% chance of a top four pick.
  • Due to owning the Lakers’ pick, the New Orleans Pelicans are next, with a 6% chance of picking No. 1 and a 26.2% chance of going in the top four.
  • The San Antonio Spurs have a 4.5% chance to go first, and a 20.2% chance of a top four pick.
  • The Washington Wizards have a 3% chance of picking No. 1 and a 13.9% chance to go top four.
  • The New York Knicks have a 2% chance at gold and a 9.4% chance of a top four selection.

  • The Cleveland Cavaliers have a 0.5% chance to go first and a 2.4% to go top four.
