Patrick Beverley Claims He Destroyed Chris Paul At LeBron James’ Camp: “Ask LeBron”
Patrick Beverley is known for being a gritty player who doesn’t back down from anyone. This is why the 33-year old has collided with a number of players throughout his entire career, one of which is Phoenix Suns point guard Chris Paul.
Beverley and Paul clearly do not like each other, and it was evident when Beverley shoved Paul from behind during Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals last playoffs.
CP3 and the Suns got the last laugh that year, but Beverley wasn’t letting him get away with it and not stir the pot. So after the Suns lost against the Dallas Mavericks in the second-round of this year’s playoffs, Beverley has wasted no time throwing shade on CP3.
Appearing on an interview with Stephen A. Smith, Beverley, who was asked to share his bad blood with the 37-year old point guard, claimed that their history started back in college when he destroyed CP3 at LeBron James’ camp.
“Me and CP this started when I was in college. I went to LeBron James camp. … and I got a taste of little CP there. Destroyed him. Ask LeBron, I don’t have to lie, ask Chris that’s your good friend. You know, so there’s always been something there.”
