NBA Twitter Reacts To Warriors-Celtics NBA Finals Matchup
The Golden State Warriors had to patiently wait to find out who they’ll be playing in the 2022 NBA Finals, and got their answer last night.
The Boston Celtics defeated the Miami Heat in a close Game 7 with 100-96 and once proved once again, that they’re one of the best defensive teams in the NBA.
This also means that Draymond Green was right after all. Green already predicted the Celtics to be the Warriors’s Finals opponent after the Dubs’ Finals-sealing win in Game 5 over the Dallas Mavericks.
Since we now have two of the three remaining franchises that actually are 75 years old (with the Knicks being the third) compete in the Finals of the NBA’s 75th anniversary season, a much more fitting and deserving matchup wouldn’t have been possible.
With the Finals set to tip-off Thursday night in San Francisco, NBA Twitter went to work and seems more than excited.
Warriors-Celtics should be epic. Boston is the only team in the NBA with a winning record against Golden State since the dynasty began. The defense is good enough to win the series. But the offense can’t slow it down and stop running sets so often like they did again in Game 7.

The Boston Celtics will face the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals for the first time since 1964.

The Warriors are way too deep and Boston struggled way too much with a banged up Heat team. Golden State wins another title in 5.
