The Miami Heat Would Love To Have Patrick Beverley According To An Anonymous NBA Executive
The Miami Heat ended the 2021-22 NBA regular season with the best record in the Eastern Conference with 53 wins and 29 losses. However, the team was sent crashing out of the NBA playoffs after losing in Game 7 against the Boston Celtics.
The Heat had a great season nonetheless, but they have some big decisions to make in this upcoming offseason to figure out their roster, especially after some of their key players including the likes of Kyle Lowry were unable to meet certain expectations during the NBA playoffs.
As changes to the lineup seem certain for the Heat next season, an anonymous NBA executive is now saying that the Heat would love to have Patrick Beverley, the hard-nosed veteran guard that rejuvenated the Minnesota Timberwolves with his defense, toughness and energy.
Per Heavy.com:
“The Heat would love to get Patrick Beverley,” the executive said to Sean Deveney of Heavy.com. “The Timberwolves, obviously, they love what he brought last year, but if they could sell high, they might be willing to give him up.”
