Anthony Edwards Claims The Warriors Will Not Win The NBA Finals If Al Horford Shows Up For The Boston Celtics
Anthony Edwards sat down in an interview with Collider and touched on the NBA Finals matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics.
While the Minnesota Timberwolves young star thinks that the Golden State Warriors will eventually win the NBA championship, one factor that could hold them back from winning is the performance of Celtics veteran Al Horford.
Horford has been an X-Factor for the Celtics throughout the playoffs, and was undeniably instrumental to their wins against the Warriors in this NBA Finals, especially in Game 1 where Horford tallied 26 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists on an efficient 75.0% shooting from the field.
If Horford continues to play well, Edwards told Collider that the Warriors will have no chance to win the NBA Finals.
“I mean I love Golden State. I think they’re gonna win, but the Celtics got so much–like they got Jaylen Brown, they got Jayson Tatum, they got Al Horf. If Al Horford plays how he’s been playing, I don’t think the Warriors got a chance,” Edwards told.
