Kevin Durant Reportedly Has Not Spoken With The Brooklyn Nets In Weeks: “There’s A Big Uneasiness”
Speaking of the noise surrounding this offseason, there’s a decent chance that a big move would be coming from the Brooklyn Nets. As one might have already heard, the futures of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant are far from being certain, and either one or both of them could be headed elsewhere.
Although Irving is the primary commodity of these rumors, Durant has become the domino. The 33-year old forward is still under contract through the 2025-26 season, but is rumored to take the exit door if Irving chooses to leave the Nets.
As rumors and speculations continue to come through, a latest buzz from Logan Murdock of The Ringer now states that Durant has not spoken with the Nets in weeks now, consequently mentioning that the former league MVP isn’t quite confident with their front office.
Per Nets Daily:
“Now, you have reports that Kyrie is looking elsewhere. I made some calls. Kevin Durant has not talked to the team in weeks. I don’t think Kevin is confident in the front office right now. I don’t know if he’s at the stage of leaving but there’s a big uneasiness from not only from the Kyrie side, but the KD side as well.”
