The Brooklyn Nets Want Brandon Ingram For Kevin Durant But The New Orleans Pelicans Are Reportedly Reluctant
The Brooklyn Nets are currently mired by a lot of noise as opposing teams continue to plot a trade for two-time Finals MVP Kevin Durant, who has made it known that he wants out of Brooklyn after three seasons with the team.
The Nets have been listening to offers for quite a while now, and interestingly, they have also started initiating their own work to find a trade for their troubled 33-year old superstar. One team that the Nets have reached out to are the New Orleans Pelicans.
According to Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson of Heavy.com, the Nets have inquired about the availability of star forward Brandon Ingram in a package for Durant, but the Pelicans are reportedly reluctant dealing the 24-year old and would rather figure out a deal centered around multiple draft picks.
“Pelicans are reluctant to give up Brandon Ingram in any deals. I’m told that the Nets have inquired on Ingram, Nance & picks.”
“IF it’s doable: From what I’ve been told: Pelicans would rather do a deal centered around a multitude of draft picks. Their own plus the Bucks and Lakers ones they still have.”

If I’m Brooklyn, I’d want to meet with Durant to see if he was on board coming to Nola.
