Shaquille O’Neal To Open 56 ‘Big Chicken’ Restaurants In Texas, One Huge Sandwich Is Named After Charles Barkley

Shaquille O’Neal is known for wanting to make people happy. The Big Diesel regularly picks up the bill for random people, whether that be bikes, laptops, furniture or engagement rings.

But aside from being a generous superstar, Shaq also is a business man. The big man’s portfolio is well spread, with him owning shares in multiple companies. Shaq also has his now sneaker brand, and has been an early stakeholder in Google.

Together with friends and other investors, O’Neal owns the fast food chain ‘Big Chicken’ that was founded in 2018 in Las Vegas.

Big Chicken is now trying to make a push and will open up as many as 56 restaurants across Texas.

The menu also features some familiar names. There’s the M.D.E (Most Dominant Ever), which is named after Shaq himself  and kept simple – a fried chicken sandwich with ‘Shaq sauce’ and pickles.

There’s an Uncle Jerome sandwich, named after O’Neal’s bodyguard, and even one called ‘Charles Barkley’, a monstrous fried chicken sandwich loaded with mac and cheese, crispy fried onions and roasted garlic barbecue aioli.
