Stephen Jackson Claims LeBron James Has Been The Best Player In The NBA Since His Third Season
LeBron James took the league by storm as a No.1 overall pick coming out of high school. He was named the Rookie of the Year in the 2003-04 NBA season and was already an All-Star in his sophomore year. In the 2005-06 NBA season, which was LeBron’s third year, he impressively finished second in MVP voting.
LeBron is generally viewed as one of the top players of the 2000s with a resume that certainly stacks up with the upper echelon of NBA superstars of that era. By the end of the decade, there was hardly any player that had a stronger case than him as the best player in the NBA.
Former NBA swingman and now-media personality Stephen Jackson now heaped some heavy praise on LeBron and claimed that the former Cleveland Cavaliers superstar was already the best player in the NBA since his third year.
“He’s been the best player in the league for every year except his first two years. From his third year on, he’s been the best player in the league,”
