Dejounte Murray Urges NBA Players To Play In Pro-Am Leagues: “So Kids Who Can’t Afford To See Us Be Able To See Us”

Dejounte Murray has had a busy offseason so far.

First, he had to pack his belongings and find a new home in Atlanta, after he was traded from the Spurs to the Hawks.

But even though Murray has had to grow accustomed to his new home, he’s still found the time to play some offseason basketball.

Just recently, the All-Star guard played in Jamal Crawford’s ‘The Crawsover’ and put on a show.

Murray explained the benefits of Pro-Am play and urged other NBA stars to start suiting up for Pro-Ams as well, because it allows a new type of audience, people who can’t afford to attend NBA games, to watch and appreciate NBA-level talent.

Per MSN:

“To my NBA brothers. If you healthy and love hooping man get out to these Pro-Am so these kids and and people who can’t afford to see us be able to see us for free. We ain’t too big for that sh*t!”
