Giannis Antetokounmpo Not Ruling Out Chicago Bulls As A Potential Destination In The Future: “You Never Know”
Giannis Antetokounmpo has already spent nine seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks since being drafted in 2013. Thought of as the heart and soul of the team, Antetokounmpo is committed with the Bucks until 2026.
While the two-time MVP has a couple of years left to play for the Bucks, his future with the team may not be secured in the long run. That is because Antetokounmpo has made it known that he’s not ruling out the possibility of wearing a different uniform at some point in the future.
Asked whether there’s any chance of him possibly playing for the Chicago Bulls down the line, the Bucks superstar didn’t shut down any door and gave the impression that he would love to play for one of the most successful NBA teams of all-time.
“I think anyone asked that question who plays basketball, if he said no, he’d be a liar. It’s a team that won multiple championships, a team with one of the greatest players, if not the greatest player to ever play this game.”
“It’s a no-brainer, everybody would love to play for Chicago. Down the line, you never know. You never know how life brings it. Maybe I play for Chicago,” Antetokounmpo said. “But right now, I’m committed to Milwaukee.”
Giannis at a presser with a startup for affordable US healthcare:
“It’s a no-brainer. Everybody would love to play for Chicago. Down the line, you’ll never know. You’ll never know what life brings. Maybe I’ll play for Chicago.”
