Vanessa Bryant To Donate $16M Verdict Proceeds To Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation
Earlier this week, Vanessa Bryant and a joint plaintiff won their lawsuit against Los Angeles County over Vanessa Bryant’s invasion of privacy.
Sheriff’s deputies and firefighters took and shared graphic photos of the helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and seven other people on board.
A jury ordered Los Angeles County to pay Vanessa Bryant and the joint plaintiff $31 million in damages, and Bryant has already revealed, that she will be donating the entirety of the $16 million verdict proceeds to the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation, which is a nonprofit organization founded by her late husband.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Vanessa Bryant she was donating the verdict proceeds “to shine a light on Kobe and Gigi’s legacy”.
