Olden Polynice Gets Ballsacked, Tells Fake Story About Kyrie Irving Asking Steve Nash To Give His MVPs Back To Kobe Bryant
So much drama has surrounded Kyrie Irving this offseason. One particular commodity that has followed him all throughout is his relationship with Brooklyn Nets head coach Steve Nash. It has been reported quite a few times that Irving and Nash do not get along very well.
This has now led to former NBA player Olden Polynice becoming the newest member of the ‘Ballsacked’ Club. Twitter parody account Ballsack Sports has fooled numerous people in the last couple of months. Even some NBA personalities and Fox News were under its victims.
Ballsack Sports got Polynice with a fake report about Irving and Nash. Polynice then was disclosing that Irving once told Nash that he had to give his MVP awards back to Bryant because he didn’t deserve them, in a podcast.
Nash’s MVPs have caused so much controversy, particularly the 2005-06 MVP award that he won over the likes of Kobe Bryant, who averaged 35.4 points a game while leading a mediocre Los Angeles Lakers team to the NBA playoffs.
“One of the reasons why there are issues between him [Nash] and Kyrie Irving was because of a statement he made during a party at Steve Nash’s house. In front of everybody, Kyrie said, ‘You need to give those MVP trophies back to Kobe [Bryant] because you didn’t deserve them.’ To me, that was the beginning of the end for the Nets.”
