Lil Wayne Believes The Los Angeles Lakers Can Win It All This Season: “I Trust LeBron”

The Los Angeles Lakers will surely be looking for redemption next season after a disappointing 2021-22 campaign that saw them missing the NBA playoffs. They are already equipped with a new head coach and a younger supporting cast while expecting LeBron James and Anthony Davis to be healthy next season.

While the Lakers are heading into a better direction, there’s still a whole lot of uncertainty surrounding the team due to their lack of shooting, injury history and Russell Westbrook’s fit. Because of this, the Lakers are commonly ranked below the likes of the Golden State Warriors, Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Clippers among the favorites in the Western Conference.

That being said, a number of people still got a lot faith in the Lakers including rap icon Lil Wayne. Appearing on Undisputed, Wayne believes the Lakers can go all the way next season.

“Beyond being a fan I believe we can go all the way,” he said. “I believe the Lakers can go as far as ‘Bron take ’em. And as far as AD’s healthy. I trust ‘Bron, I’m not sure about AD and his health,” he said.

“I trust ‘Bron. You got to remember, it’s not like Bron and AD were out there. We weighing it from what happened, how Westbrook played, whatever, but he didn’t do that while LeBron and AD was out.”

“The Lakers can go as far as LeBron & AD can take them and I trust LeBron.”
