NBA Analyst Rob Parker Explains Why Stephen Curry May Not Be A Top 15 Player In NBA History
After winning last year’s NBA Finals, a strong argument can made for Stephen Curry as one of the top 10 players in NBA history. As it stands now, Curry now has four NBA championships, two MVPs and one Finals MVP to go along with his status as the greatest shooter in NBA history.
Judging from his on-court success, Curry definitely stacks up to some of the greatest players to ever set foot in the NBA, and it’s just too hard to deny that. However, some people continue to brush off Curry’s success and diminish his place among the league’s greatest players of all-time.
Sports anchor and NBA analyst Rob Parker is one such example. Appearing on “The Odd Couple” podcast, Parker sounded off on Curry and exclaimed why the four-time NBA champion may not be a top 15 player in NBA history.
“I get why he is saying it, because he won the Finals MVP even though you don’t put much stock in it,” Parker said. “So, that was something for him, and I think that’s probably why he says it. But, Steph, if you take those two away, you’re not a top 10 or 15 player that everybody is talking about.”
