NBA Launches Reimagined App And Adds Some Amazing New Features
Today is the day! The NBA has finally completely revised its official NBA app and added many new features.
It was definitely time for a fresh coat of paint, although it has to be said that the NBA went for more of a complete refurbishment – with ultimate success.
Before the official release, I was allowed to get a taste of the app and try out some of the new features.
Here is a list of what’s new:
Live Gameday Experience:
Fans will be immersed in game-day content all day long and, for the first time, get live access to streams of all pregame and postgame NBA press conferences and media days from every major event. In addition, NBA ID members will have access to pregame shows for all NBA League Pass games through regional sports networks.
In addition to 24/7 NBA TV programming, the NBA App will feature more than 6,000 hours of live programming throughout the year, including an expanded selection of live whiparound shows and alternative live game viewing options such as:
“CrunchTime” – A weekly whiparound show taking fans live to crucial moments of each game and providing real-time updates and analysis, produced by NBA TV and hosted by Jared Greenberg.
Alternative Telecasts – NBA League Pass subscribers will have access to expanded options for live personalized viewing experiences through a wide variety of alternative streams, including NBABet streams along with single-camera angle, influencer-led, analytics-driven and in-language feeds with commentary in more than three languages, including Spanish, Korean and Portuguese. “NBA HooperVision” returns for its second season with former NBA players and hosts Nate Robinson and Quentin Richardson.
