Matt Barnes Says Ime Udoka Will Be Lucky To Ever Coach Again When Full Story Is Revealed
Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka has dominated the headlines after it was revealed that the 45-year old head coach had an inappropriate relationship with a female Celtics staffer. Due to this and among other team violations, Udoka is currently suspended for the entire 2022-23 NBA season.
Some specific details of the story remain unclear, and former NBA player Matt Barnes just added to the rumors during an appearance on VLAD TV.
Barnes said that he heard it’s not about what he did, it’s about who he did it with, while also saying that if the full story gets revealed, Udoka will be lucky to ever coach in the NBA again.
“But, like I heard it’s not about what he did, it’s about who he did it [with] that is really going to kind of flip the game upside down when it comes to this instance. This is not something that’s only the NBA. This happens in the workplace all around. But like I said, it’s not so much the act.
If everything comes out he’ll be lucky if he coaches in the NBA again, I think it’s pretty heavy.”
