The Future Is Now: NBA Japan Games Had Automated Mops Mopping The Hardwood

 

Some years ago, back in 2015, a mop man at the 2015 FIBA Africa Women Champions Cup in Angola went viral and took the world by storm.

 

 

Then, years later, history repeated itself and another mop boy went viral, when a video of him working the FIBA World Cup 2023 Qualifiers surfaced, with him putting on a show.

 

 

However, it now turns out that the mop boy era might come to an end. We all know that Japan is always living a few years ahead of most of the world, at least when it comes to a technological standard, but what happened during the Japan Games between the Warriors and Wizards last week, was something we’ve never seen before… fully automated robotic mops, mopping the NBA hardwood. The future is now indeed…
