Damian Lillard Shot 914 Threes Before Missing Two In A Row In Shooting Drill
The Portland Trail Blazers’ 2021-22 season was nothing short of disastrous. One of the main reasons for their bad record was the injury of superstar point guard Damian Lillard.
But Lillard says he’s now feeling better than ever and is ready to start the season with the new and improved Portland Trail Blazers, to whom he continued to show loyalty to this offseason, when agreeing to a two-year, $122 million extension.
Reddit user Dandow93 now brought up something he heard during the Blazers vs Jazz NBA preseason broadcast yesterday, commentator Lamar Hurd shared following story:
While recovering from his abdominal injury, Lillard performed a 3-point shooting drill on the Noah Shooting System (a shooting/ball recovery machine).
It apparently took Lillard 914 attempts from the 3-point line before he missed two in a row, while shooting for over an hour.
