NBA On ESPN Missed Out On Having A Real Banger As Their New Theme Song

Last week, we reported that ESPN decided to renew its theme song for their NBA coverage.

So before the start of the 2022-23 NBA season, we had to say goodbye to another classic NBA theme, after Fox News’ NBA Jingle was no more after a rebranding cross-partnership with Bally’s Corporation last year, that included new graphics and new theme music.

NBA fans hated the new ESPN jingle, but it now turns out, it all could have been a different story, had ESPN selected another artist.

Producer, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Otis McDonald unveiled his submission for the new NBA on ESPN theme, and fans loved it.
