NBA Executive Thinks Tyrese Maxey Is Going To Be Better Than Teammate James Harden
Tyrese Maxey has been a bright spot for the Philadelphia 76ers since he was taken in the 2020 NBA Draft. Despite being a late-round pick, Maxey has managed to work his way up to become one of the top young players in the NBA.
Last year, the young Sixers guard took a massive leap and looked like an entirely different player for the Sixers as he averaged 17.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game on 48.5% shooting from the field.
After a spectacular sophomore year, many are expecting Maxey to take another leap this season. In fact, one NBA executive is eyeing the 21-year old guard as the top breakout candidate for this season while exclaiming that Maxey is going to be better than Sixers teammate James Harden.
Per HoopsHype:
“Maxey’s going to be better than James Harden,” one general manager boldly told HoopsHype. “He just keeps getting better and better and will be a huge reason why they have success this season.”
