Stephen Curry’s Reaction To Damion Lee’s Game-Winner Hilariously Wakes Up Son Next To An Angry Ayesha
In one the most one-sided Game 7s in NBA history, the Dallas Mavericks destroyed the Phoenix Suns inside their own arena in last year’s Western Conference Semi Finals, with an outstanding performance.
Luka Doncic set the tone early on, while the Suns were completely lost on both ends of the floor. The Mavs led with over 40 points in the fourth quarter and were able to sub out their starters early.
At the end, it was a 123:90 blowout victory, that had the Mavs snatch the ticket to the Western Conference Finals!
Since the game was truly one-of-a-kind with a helpless Suns team that finished with the best regular season record of any team since 2016, the entire franchise, including the fans were shocked.
Yesterday, in the their first games of the 2022-23 season, the Mavericks and Suns met again. And while the Suns were seeking revenge, it first looked like a baby blueprint of Game 7. At one point, the Dallas Mavericks were up by 22 points.
The Suns however showed heart and fought their way back into the game, with a brilliant fourth quarter and ended up victorious, also due to an unlikely hero. Damien Lee, who drained a clutch shot shortly before, made a difficult shot that turned out to be the game winner.
Lee’s former teammate and brother-in-law, Stephen Curry, was more hyped in front of his TV than Lee appeared to be on the court. Curry was so excited that he woke up his young son.
Steph however said ‘f**k them kids’ (not literally) and posted the video to his Instagram stories, with his wife Ayesha not really being amused, while warning him about waking up their four-year-old son.
