Klay Thompson Shares Hilarious Story Of Getting Pulled Over With A Bag Of Weed In College

Last season, Klay Thompson had been getting back into form, after his long-awaited comeback, only to be his best again come playoff time.

After working his way back following the torn ACL he suffered during the 2019 NBA Finals, Thompson received another devastating blow, when an injury he suffered in last year’s offseason turned out to be an Achilles tear.

But his hard work and strong will paid off, as Thompson was able to help the Warriors win the 2022 NBA Championship, and collect his title number four.

Everyone in the league, and most NBA fans were happy for Klay, who is one of the most universally loved NBA players, also because he barley generates any negative headlines. When he now was guest on the ‘all the smoke’ podcast, Thompson was asked to share his best college memories. The four-time champion proceeded to recall the time he ended up on the national news, because he got pulled over with a bag of weed.

“You wanna hear a funny one? When I got rolled for a dime bag in my driveway. Yes, the police were… it’s so ironic cause two years after, cannabis was legalized in the state of Washington. And I had to apologize, I’ve got suspended…  that’s the only time I made headlines.”
