Myles Turner On Tyrese Haliburton: “Going To Be A Chris Paul Type Of Guy For Years To Come”
Tyrese Haliburton continues to shine as one of the most promising young players in the NBA. So far this season, the 22-year old guard is averaging 23.4 points, 4.1 rebounds and 10.0 assists per game on 50.0% shooting from the field.
Indiana Pacers general manager Chad Buchanan previously expressed that he sees Haliburton as the face of the franchise and even look at him as the next Reggie Miller. Interestingly, Pacers big man Myles Turner also likened the Pacers rising star to another NBA all-time great.
Appearing on “The Woj Pod”, Turner heaped praises on Haliburton, exclaiming that he’s on his way to become a Chris Paul type of guy for years to come.
“I think that he’s an All-Star level talent, he’s going to be a Chris Paul type of guy for years to come, lead the league in assists. I’m happy to just be a part of it for the time that I can be at this young part of his career, he’s someone I’ve been a fan of for a while now.”
