Gregg Popovich And Sideline Reporter Tom Tolbert Have Best Interview Of The Season

We all know the history most sideline reporters have with Gregg Popovich. When Popovich was questioned during in-game-between-qurter interviews, he used to answer with very few words, seeming to be very annoyed. Things get worse when the Spurs were struggling.

But the older Pop seems to get, the more relaxed he’s getting when doing interviews. Simply put, Coach Popovich still loves his job, and without the pressure of having to win with the rebuilding Spurs, he’s become super chill.

After last night’s loss against the Warriors for example, Pop and NBC Sports sideline reporter and former NBA player Tom Tolbert had what likely is the best interview of the season. They talked about sea otters and their behaviors.

After Popovich, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was next, although he’s more of a dog person.
