Kevin Durant Makes Pick Between Stephen Curry And Yuta Watanabe In A Hypothetical Three-Point Contest
Stephen Curry is widely known as the greatest shooter of all-time and also the best three-point shooter in the history of the NBA. But one guy who’s been stealing the spotlight from deep this season is Brooklyn Nets sharpshooter Yuta Watanabe.
Watanabe has played 14 games this season and has been leading the league in three-point percentage as he averages a ridiculous 57.1 3P% while attempting 3.0 threes a game. He outranks Curry who averages 44.7% shooting from deep.
After Watanabe’s recent game against the Memphis Grizzlies where he shot 4/6 from the three-point line, Nets superstar Kevin Durant was now asked on whether he’d take Curry or Watanabe in a hypothetical three-point contest.
“Steph’s a God but Yuta’s definitely knocking ’em down right now. He’s shooting the ball extremely well for us, he’s spacing the floor.”
Reporter: “Kevin, who would you take in a 3-point contest right now, Yuta or Steph?”
