Stephen Curry Drained Five Consecutive Full Court Shots (Or Did He?)
In 2005, LeBron was seen draining five consecutive full-court shots during a practice session, in a 30-second Powerade commercial.
Unfortunately, what looked like some lucky footage captured by a local TV crew, turned out to be visual effects.
Now, with 17 years of improved ‘Movie Magic’ and it becoming accessible for basically everybody (to a certain extent), we sometimes do not know what is true, and what isn’t… and in comes Stephen Curry.
After a shoot with Sports Illustrated, Curry was filmed draining five consecutive full court shots, as the cameras kept rolling.
While it is certainly more believable that Steph is making these, compared to LeBron, with the shooting motion also being more realistic for that distance, it still has the internet torn. Some say it’s real, others say it has got to be fake. Either way, it’s a work of art…
