Anthony Edwards Hilariously Forgets That Rudy Gobert Played For The Jazz

Tonight will be Rudy Gobert’s first appearance in Salt Lake City against his former team the Utah Jazz. As a former member of the Jazz , the center won three Defensive Players of the Year awards, and helped them to become a Western Conference powerhouse.

Even though the last year wasn’t the best, and Gobert may not have left on the best terms, it surely will be a special night for the Frenchman.

When Gobert’s teammate Anthony Edwards was asked about the importance surrounding Gobert’s return however, he almost seemed to have forgotten that his center played for the Jazz. Edwards is so funny, even without trying.

“What makes it a big one?”
