Stephen Jackson Wants To “Slap The Sh*t” Out Of Skip Bayless Over Damar Hamlin Tweet
This past Monday, during the game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Buffalo Bills in the NFL, Bills safety Damar Hamlin tragically collapsed and suffered a cardiac arrest after making a tackle during Monday night’s game.
Shortly after the collision with Bengals receiver Tee Higgins, Hamlin stood up, but fell and lay motionless within seconds.
His heartbeat was restored on the field and he was transferred to the hospital for further testing and treatment. Thankfully, Hamlin woke up from his coma yesterday, and is able to communicate. It is expected that he can make a full recovery .
During the incident on Monday, controversial Fox Sports host Skip Bayless posted a tweet that since has had him in scorching hot water:
“No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how? This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome…”
Bayless’ reaction not only led to his co-host Shannon Sharpe not show up for work on Tuesday, it has also received backlash from within the NBA. While Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma first asked the question of why Bayless never has to face any repercussions for his often insensitive and crude takes, former NBA player Stephen Jackson now one up’d Kuzma.
Jackson blasted Bayless for his statement, saying that he has lost all respect for him, while wanting to physically harm him.
Ima slap the shit outta @RealSkipBayless u too bold. All respect gone.
