LeBron James Calls Out Reporter Claiming Lakers Superstar Is Losing His Patience With The Lakers
Although the Los Angeles Lakers are in the midst of an encouraging five-game winning streak, fans and basketball pundits have been calling on their front office to complete a trade to help the team and put them back into championship contention.
Obviously, that hasn’t happened, and the front office has gone under fire for their reluctance to make any roster changes so far this season.
On Sunday, The Athletic’s Sam Amick just brought more buzz into the situation after reporting a recent interview with LeBron James, suggesting that the 38-year old Lakers superstar has grown impatient with the Lakers.
While LeBron indeed expressed his feelings about his team’s direction, the four-time NBA champion made it known that he is not losing his patience and not concerned about roster moves while calling out The Athletic journalist on Twitter.
“Hey Sam actually my patience isn’t waning. You make it sound like I’m frustrated when I’m really not. I told you over and over, my job is focused on the guys in the locker room, my job isn’t the roster. That’s the reality of that conversation. And I said what I said with the upmost respect and calmness cause that’s the mood I’m in! Your welcome! 5 game winning streak.”
