Robert Horry Thinks Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Doesn’t Want To Attend The Game LeBron James Breaks His Scoring Record
It’s only a matter of time until LeBron James officially breaks the all-time NBA scoring record that Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has been holding since 1989. LeBron is currently 261 points away from doing so and is expected to surpass Abdul-Jabbar in February.
There’s a lot of excitement and chatters going on among NBA circles as LeBron moves closer to the all-time scoring record. Even Kareem once tweeted that he’d be glad to congratulate the 38-year old Lakers superstar when the time finally comes.
However, in spite of Kareem’s statement, seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry doesn’t think the legendary center is exactly thrilled to see LeBron break his scoring record. Appearing on “Big Shot Bob” podcast, Horry exclaimed that Kareem may not want to attend the game where LeBron surpasses him.
“People always say records are made to be broken,” Horry said while speaking on his Big Shot Bob podcast. “That’s (expletive). Everybody that says that ain’t got no damn records. You don’t want your record to be broken. You want to be No. 1 all time in that situation. If someone is about to break my record, you think I’m going to go sit in the (expletive) stands and watch you break my record and be pissed?”
