Shannon Sharpe Called Hypocrite As Old Comments About Courtside Fans Resurface Following Altercation

Last week, Football Hall of Famer and sports media personality Shannon Sharpe was part of an altercation with the entire Memphis Grizzlies team and Ja Morant’s father, Tee Morant, during the Grizzlies’ game in Los Angeles against the Lakers.

Sharpe was sitting courtside, and just before halftime, things escalated between Sharpe, Dillon Brooks and Ja Morant, leading to Steven Adams first, and then the entire Grizzleis roster charging towards Sharpe, while arena security was trying to hold them back

Sharpe was the one initially causing the altercation, when he told Dillon Brooks he “was too small to guard LeBron”.

His behavior and him being the instigator, had people thinking about an old quote of his, where he famously stated:

“People think because they pay money…you can say whatever you want.”
