Phoenix Suns Now Favorites To Make NBA Finals, But Only Have Second Highest Odds

It was an early morning bomb for us Europeans, and a ‘in the middle of the night’ bomb for many Americans that shook the NBA landscape earlier today.

Kevin Durant was traded from the Brooklyn Nets to the Phoenix Suns. The Nets traded their superstar and TJ Warren for Cam Johnson, Mikael Bridges, Jae Crowder and four first-round draft picks and the NBA world hasn’t been the same since.

While it seems that somehow both teams are winners of the trade – as it should be under perfect circumstances – the Phoenix Suns are probably the biggest winner in the entire NBA with the addition of Durant.

This can also be seen when looking at the new betting odds at BetMGM. There, Phoenix went from +1800 to win the NBA title — only good for sixth in the Western Conference — to +450, which is best in the West and second-best in the entire NBA.

The Boston Celtics however still remain reigning supreme, as they should.
