The 2022-23 NBA season hasn’t been looking good for the Los Angeles Lakers. They have lost 32 games of the 58 games they have played in so far, and have really struggled to become a high-caliber team in the Western Conference.
Over the year, the struggles of the Lakers have been well-documented. Their problems have ranged from lack of shooting, too many guards, second-half woes, defensive lapses, and even injuries to their two superstars.
But as it turns out, the Lakers’ biggest issue may not be about the things happening on the court but apparently outside of it. Former Lakers guard Patrick Beverley recently talked about this while reflecting on his time with the Lakers.
“It wasn’t basketball. It was other s**i but other s**t that you couldn’t point out… The vibes were sometimes on, sometimes off. Inconsistent vibes leads to inconsistent play,” Patrick Beverley said in a recent episode of the Pat Bev Pod podcast.
