It would be somewhat of a dream to see Zion Williamson participate in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest sometime in the future. Williamson is a star and a highlight-reel material. He definitely knows how to steal the show.
But it’s not like Williamson never did a dunk contest before. In fact, Williamson took part in the 2016 Under Armour Elite 24 Dunk Contest and 2018 McDonald’s All-American Dunk Contest, and impressively won both competitions.
Williamson doesn’t lack confidence in his hops and ability to throw dunks with finesse and ease. With this in mind, Williamson has made it no secret that he’s giving a heavy consideration to participating in the next NBA Slam Dunk contest.
Per Complex:
“I think about it. I put heavy consideration into doing the Dunk Contest. I feel like If I’m gonna do it, I’ll probably do it next year.”
