Even though LeBron James and Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green have had their fair share of battles and can be considered rivals, they’ve always had a great amount of respect for one-another.

Earlier this year for example, Green made sure to give James the kind of credit he deserves.

Appearing on his own podcast, Draymond heaped high praise on LeBron and said that there’s never been a face of the NBA than the 38-year old Lakers superstar.

“I take my hat off to LeBron,” Green said. “For what he’s done, for what he’s doing, on and off the court, there’s never been a better face of the NBA, and I’m not sure there ever will be a better face of the NBA.”

This however then led to Green being criticized for praising his rival. Green now brought up him catching some heat for praising LeBron, and compared it to slavery:

Per The Draymond Green Show:

“I catch a lot of flak… for the way I ride for Bron. Me being f*cking happy for Bron, that doesn’t dim Steph’s light. I always tell people that’s your losing a** mentality…I always compare it to slavery where they wanna turn us against each other.”
