In recent years, Memphis Grizzlies winger Dillon Brooks has emerged as one of the biggest villains in the NBA.
Brooks has never been one to shy away from speaking his mind, which has led to many on-, and off court altercation with players, fans or coaches.
Before the Lakers won their play-in game against the Timberwolves, securing a playoff spot and the first round series versus the Grizzlies, Brooks said that he’d love to play LeBron James the Lakers in the playoffs and send them home.
Then, in yesterday’s Game 1, in which the Lakers stole home court advantage with their 128-112 win, LeBron James gave Dillon Brooks a little taste of his own medicine.
As Brooks went to get some advice from head coach Taylor Jenkins, LeBron walked over to the sideline, pretended to lean in and act like he was listening to their conversation.
