Russell Westbrook checks plenty of boxes, including playmaking, rebounding and defensive ability. He also plays with a lot of energy and brings a ton of intensity to his team. That being said, shooting the ball efficiently is a problem for the Los Angeles Clippers point guard.

While Westbrook raised his shooting percentage from 41.7% to 48.9% shooting from the field when he moved to the Clippers during the regular season, the 34-year old veteran has only shot an eye-popping 34.3% shooting from the field through two contests in the first-round of the NBA playoffs.

While Westbrook shot it more efficiently in last night’s Game 3, worries about Westbrook’s shooting struggles have manifested quickly during the first two games. But according to Clippers superstar Paul George, the best way to help Westbrook amid rough stretches is to leave him alone, exclaiming that even Michael Jordan had his own off nights.

Per Bleacher Report:

“You say absolutely nothing to him,” George told Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report. “That’s part of the game. Michael Jordan missed shots. It happens. Every night is not going to be a hot night. Every night is not going to be a 30-, 40-point performance. But I think his ability to not let that waver his overall game is a confidence flex of his own. It almost makes him go harder because he’s not making shots. He’s going to make his imprint somewhere else.”
