Damian Lillard hasn’t given enough indication that he wants to be traded out of the Portland Trail Blazers. But after his team failed to earn a spot in the NBA playoffs recently, basketball pundits think Lillard will be wearing a different uniform next season.
Lillard tallied 32.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game on 46.3% shooting from the field to end their campaign. With that kind of production, the 32-year old is a no-brainer target for almost every team in the NBA, especially win-now teams with significant assets in return.
As rumors continue to swirl around Lillard, NBA analyst Frank Isola now sees Lillard moving to the Eastern Conference next season while naming five East teams who are likely to be potential landing spots for the Blazers superstar.
“I think he’s gonna be on the move. I think he’s gonna end up in the eastern conference.”
