Shortly after this year’s All-Star break, on February 22, 2023, Meyers Leonard signed a 10-day contract with the Milwaukee Bucks, that eventually led to him signing a contract to stay on the team for the rest of the season.
Before the Bucks and the controversy surrounding his person – Leonard was suspended indefinitely, due to his use of an anti-Semitic slur during a Twitch video game livestream session in 2021 – the big man played for the Miami Heat.
Since old habits die hard, Leonard was in for a mishap in Game 3 in the series between his current and his former team, that just went viral now.
Miami’s Caleb Martin made a three late in the second quarter, with the Bucks bench being in the frame, and Meyers Leonard could be seen standing up and celebrate the three, before realizing that he cheered for the wrong team. He then immediately sat down again.
This is too funny!
