Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray complement each other almost perfectly. Jokic controls the paint and knows how to create easy baskets for his teammates, while Murray is able to do damage at the perimeter and ready to catch passes from anywhere on the floor.
The two players have proved to be the key pieces to the rise of the Denver Nuggets over the past couple of years. They now took it to another level this season as they led the Denver Nuggets to its first NBA Finals in franchise history.
Everyone is well aware of how good the two players have been this season. For one, Miami Heat point guard Kyle Lowry spoke nothing but praise for Jokic and Murray, comparing them to San Antonio Spurs legends Tim Duncan and Tony Parker.
“I’m pretty old in this game right now. Tim Duncan and Tony Parker, honestly. That’s a great combination that I got the opportunity to play against. Jamal [Murray] and Jokic, they’re just deadly.”
“They both can score, pass the ball. They’re big targets and they have a great feel for each other. That combination, they’re very, very good.”
“Tim Duncan and Tony Parker, honestly.”
