For many, Las Vegas Aces head coach Becky Hammon is a lock to become the NBA’s first female head coach. The former San Antonio Spurs assistant coach reportedly was a serious candidate for previous vacant coaching gigs, at the Knicks and Spurs. And why not?! She’s got the expertise, the skills and the ability to lead a team, gender really shouldn’t play any role.
Last night, Becky was enshrined into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. During her enshrinement speech however, Hammon casually admitted that her parents couldn’t make it, because they were poaching animals somewhere in Africa.
Hello, my name is Becky Hammon, and my parents are poachers. https://t.co/Cngy2Y6UWG pic.twitter.com/L20nB7hEbh
