In last year’s offseason, Draymond Green made headlines after the he got into a heated altercation with teammate Jordan Poole in practice which resulted in the Warriors veteran throwing a vicious fist that knocked Poole down.
Green may have opened up about the incident and delivered a public apology during a Warriors media availability, but according to a newly released article by the Ringer, Green avoided Poole and refused all of the Warriors’ attempts to get them back on the same page:
“The divide widened as Green, who declined comment for this story, accepted several invitations to speak on the situation during last season, but never spoke with Poole directly, angering many within Poole’s inner circle,” The Ringer reports.
“According to Warriors officials, head coach Steve Kerr made several attempts to convince Green to take Poole to dinner, to smooth over their relationship, but Green declined.”
