Rookie of the Year frontrunner, future Most Valuable Player, future Defensive Player of the Year—these are just some of the early impressions of Victor Wembanyama. But just when it seems everything has been said about him, an even more surprising opinion emerges.
Seasoned NBA reporter Rachel Nichols recently expressed a lofty view of Wembanyama, suggesting that he could redefine the GOAT debate. But it was former NBA defensive specialist Metta Sandiford-Artest who earlier grabbed attention with a wilder take on the rookie’s future.
On Twitter, now known as X, Sandiford-Artest didn’t hold back his expectations for the San Antonio Spurs big man. He believes Wembanyama will not only win individual awards but also secure 10 NBA championships in his career.
“Wem is winning 10 titles potentially. He might win MVP this year. Definitely 1st team all defense and 1st team all nba. Potentially the 1st player to be most improved as a rookie”
