Chris Paul Ejected After Latest Incident With Nemesis Referee Scott Foster In Phoenix Return

Towards the end of the second quarter in the Phoenix Suns vs Golden State Warriors game, Warriors point guard Chris Paul was ejected after receiving back-to-back technical fouls for arguing a call.

Interestingly enought, veteran referee Scott Foster was the official to throw him out of the game. Paul and Foster have a long, acrimonious history, and are the nemesis of each other. Paul has only has won very few of his games refereed by Foster, especially in the playoffs, and the long-running feud included multiple public callouts over time.

Paul just joined the Warriors this past summer after his three-year stint with the Suns, and Wednesday’s game actually marked his first back in Phoenix since leaving the franchise.
